Key Responsibilities
1. Tender Strategy & Opportunity Leadership
- Own strategic customer opportunities throughout the tendering lifecycle.
- Develop and execute bid-winning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze customer requirements, competitive landscape, and project drivers.
- Drive commercial decision-making to maximize probability of win and profitability.
- Support Bid-Invest decisions and opportunity qualification processes.
2. End-to-End Tender Management
- Lead the complete tender process from opportunity assessment through proposal submission.
- Develop and maintain tender schedules, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate all tender activities in accordance with CPP methodology.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals, quotations, RFQs, and RFP responses.
- Present bids for internal approval in accordance with Delegation of Authority requirements.
3. Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Develop project financial models including P&L analysis, profitability forecasting, cash-flow projections, and cash curves.
- Validate pricing strategies, margins, contingencies, and commercial assumptions.
- Balance competitiveness with acceptable risk and profitability targets.

- Prepare executive-level financial summaries and approval packages.
- Ensure forecasting accuracy and business reporting integrity.
4. Technical & Solution Development
- Collaborate with engineering and technical SMEs to develop optimized solutions.
- Ensure technical compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Integrate technical, commercial, contractual, and service elements into a complete offer.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive alignment between customer requirements and Schneider Electric capabilities.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and coordinate multinational cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Legal, Supply Chain, Services, and Sales.
- Establish priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Facilitate bid review meetings, pricing reviews, risk reviews, and executive governance sessions.
- Drive accountability and ensure on-time delivery under demanding deadlines.
6. Risk, Contract & Compliance Management
- Lead risk and opportunity assessments throughout the bid cycle.
- Coordinate with Solution Risk Management (SRM), Customer Project Officer (CPO), Legal, and Contract Management teams.
- Review contractual terms, commercial conditions, technical obligations, and project risks.
- Develop mitigation plans and maintain risk registers.
- Ensure adherence to Schneider Electric governance policies, CPP framework, and quality requirements.
7. Customer Engagement & Negotiation Support
- Support customer clarifications, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and proposal reviews.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to position Schneider Electric's value proposition.
- Participate in customer meetings and post-submission follow-up activities.
- Drive customer satisfaction and strengthen strategic relationships.
8. Project Handover & Execution Readiness
- Ensure successful transition of awarded projects to execution teams.
- Organize proposal-to-project transition and contract handover meetings.
- Transfer bid assumptions, commitments, risks, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain alignment between tender commitments and project delivery execution.
9. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Participate in win/loss reviews and lessons learned exercises.
- Drive improvements in tendering tools, processes, governance, and best practices.
- Support business transformation initiatives and operational excellence programs.
- Mentor and share best practices across the tendering community.
Qualifications - Required
- Bachelor's degree in E lectrical E ngineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tender Management, Bid Management, Proposal Management, Project Management, Commercial Operations, Sales Support, or Customer Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional opportunities.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin analysis, and business case development.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with CRM, quotation, tendering, and project management systems.
- Self-motivated and highly collaborative team player.
Qualifications - Preferred
- Experience in the electrical power industry, energy management, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of:

- Low Voltage Switchgear
- Protection & Control Systems
- E-House Solutions
- Transformers
- Power Monitoring Systems
- Digital Power Software and Services
- Microgrids and Energy Management Solutions
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience with customer contracts, commercial negotiations, and risk management.
- Experience using Schneider Electric tools such as bFO, SEA, Tender Management tools, CPP governance systems, and risk management processes.
- Knowledge of EPC, industrial, utility, datacenter, healthcare, transportation, or energy market segments.
- Experience leading large-value turnkey, engineered, or design-build project opportunities.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
