Tender Architect Team Lead
Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Tender Architect Team Lead in Franklin, TN.
Job Description: Responsible for power systems solution support with an emphasis in digital connected applications and team leadership. Lead resource planning, performance management, and process improvement initiatives. Prepare comprehensive tender submissions outlining technical solutions, including connected equipment, edge software, and engineering/advisory services. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that address all project aspects in tenders. Support Bid Invest decisions by preparing proposals and conducting commercial and technical impact evaluations during the bid process. Evaluate incoming proposals and provide technical assessments to aid decision-making. Maintain strong relationships with strategic internal and external customers to understand their needs and expectations. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to inform tender strategies and provide application support for Global Line of Business. Present strategic account activity through monthly business reports and team meetings. Serve as primary point of escalation for issue resolution within the team. Conduct one-on-one meetings to promote employee engagement and development. Assist with performance reviews and merit cycle planning. Drive change management and develop process flows around key initiatives. Remote eligible up to 3 dys/wk.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in engineering in the electrical industry, or related occupation, which must include at least 2 years of tender or sales support engineering, as well as at least some experience in the following skills: Preparing technical tenders for medium/low voltage electrical equipment; Tender architecting using knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes; Interacting with power monitoring and protection/control automation systems; and Designing tenders for Schneider Electric MV/LV equipment; Utilizing digital tools for tender preparation and bid management (ERP or CRM systems); Applying knowledge of edge software and connected applications in power systems solutions; and Collaborating with cross-functional teams for technical and commercial bid evaluations.
