Technical Writer

Document Review, Quality, and Governance
• Support formal documentation reviews and release approvals.
• Ensure documentation complies with applicable corporate standards, regulatory
requirements, terminology guidelines, and localization needs.
• Maintain a high level of consistency, accuracy, usability, and quality across all
project documentation.
• Manage document revisions, version control, release status, and updates in
alignment with project and product lifecycle milestones.
• Help establish standardized Prefab documentation formats, templates, style
guidelines, and reusable content.
Publishing
• Prepare final approved documentation for release and upload it to the appropriate
document repository.
• Ensure final documentation is included in project handover packages.
• Support publication and localization activities when documentation is required in
additional languages.
• Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating with the broader Data
Center Systems technical-writing community.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical communication, or a related technical
field. Electrical, mechanical, industrial, or systems engineering is preferred.
General
• One to three years of experience in technical writing, engineering documentation,
product documentation, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex engineering information into clear and
accurate technical content.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, and
other engineering documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project-management skills.
• High level of attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, documentation revisions, and stakeholder
reviews.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional, and technically
diverse teams.
• Understanding of document-control practices, revision management, and formal
technical review processes.
• Continuous improvement: Identifies opportunities to standardize templates,
simplify workflows, and improve documentation quality.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
