TECHNICAL LEAD (PROJECT TECHNICAL SENIOR ENGINEER)

Are you ready to take technical leadership to the next level? We are looking for a structured and proactive Technical Lead to join our Project Execution team. In this role, you will act as the engineering lead on major projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the technical scope is delivered on time, to quality, and in alignment with contractual requirements.

You will oversee the engineering lifecycle-from design and development to testing and client approvals-ensuring process adherence, resource coordination, and stakeholder alignment. This is a key role in securing successful project execution and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for in our new technical lead?

  • Proven experience in leading engineering activities within large, complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of design, development, testing, and engineering QA processes.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems, SCADA, automation, or other integrated building solutions is a plus.
  • Skilled in planning and coordinating engineering resources across project phases.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS Project).
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
  • Structured and proactive mindset with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

You thrive in a technical leadership role and bring clarity, structure, and quality focus to engineering execution. You will be instrumental in ensuring that engineering deliverables meet contractual scope, timelines, and quality standards-while supporting the Project Manager in planning, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities:
  • Act as on-site technical lead throughout design, installation, and testing phases.
  • Lead technical discussions and clarifications with the customer and stakeholders.
  • Support overall project planning, milestones, and deliverables align with contract and strategy.
  • Plan and manage engineering resource allocation to ensure capacity matches project needs.
  • Ensure engineering processes, design compliance, and QA standards are followed.
  • Manage technical documentation including Building Management System panels, installation, software, and graphics.
  • Provide regular technical status reporting and secure client approvals.
  • Lead technical scope management and support change management.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and contribute to risk mitigation.
