Systems Integration Technician

Are you experienced with SCADA, building automation, controls, computer networking, or software that communicates with field devices? Schneider Electric is looking for a technically strong, hands-on specialist to configure and commission Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) at customer sites.
You do not need previous EPMS experience. If you have strong computer and software skills, understand networking and device communication, and have a basic understanding of electrical systems, we can provide training on our power monitoring solutions.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot EPMS software and connected field devices.
- Configure networked devices, communications, alarms, monitoring points, and system settings.
- Troubleshoot communication between software and electrical devices.
- Work with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or similar technologies.
- Work directly with customers, contractors, and project teams at data center construction sites and operational data centers.
- Support system startup, testing, documentation, and customer training.
- Travel regularly to customer sites, with periodic overnight travel.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on computer and software skills, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software.
- Experience connecting, configuring, or troubleshooting networked field devices.
- Understanding of IP networking and device communication.
- Experience with SCADA, BAS/BMS, controls, industrial automation, systems integration, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Modbus, BACnet, Profibus, or similar communication protocols is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and power fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.

Experience That Can Translate Well
You don't need to come directly from the electrical power monitoring industry. Relevant backgrounds may include:
- SCADA
- Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
- Industrial controls
- Systems integration
- Energy management systems
- Industrial automation
- Controls commissioning
- Data center systems, controls, or operations
- Networked industrial devices
A two-year technical degree in electrical technology, electronics, automation, controls, networking, or a related discipline is preferred but not required based on relevant experience.

This position is non-exempt and qualifies for overtime in addition to base salary and short-term incentive (target bonus).
