Supply Chain Planning Supervisor

The El Paso, TX plant has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Supply Chain Planning Supervisor. You will be primarily accountable for the supervision of the team of supply chain planning analysts.
What do you get to do in this position?
- Performs and supports the team on daily operations linked to upstream supply chain management.
- Plan, collaborate and control activities related to supply chain that directly/indirectly affect the Plants Operations on Safety, affect production, quality, lean manufacturing, Order Engineering, Interplant Procurement, Customer Service, Finance and Human Resources.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (Schneider Production System) to drive continuous improvement throughout the plant under the managers direction.
- Demonstrate a Customer Centric Culture, responsible for improving Customer Satisfaction Metrics (Service and Quality) by having material on time and available for production.
- Lead Plant activities for High Performance Work Culture and Talent Management
- Promote collaboration, diversity and inclusion within the plant
- Be responsible for people management including : goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well being.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, b usiness, s upply c hain or i ndustrial m anagement or equivalent is required .
- 8+ years of demonstrated supervisory experience, with broad operational knowledge gained through extensive hands-on work in relevant roles.
- Oversees the MRP planning , including Exceptions, HS RCA, Stocking Policy, Ship Mode, SS, LS, etc. aligned with the overall business goals and operational requirements.
- Organize of the upstream flows with our suppliers. M onitors internal and external Supplier Service Rates and Performance driving action plans to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other areas to promote the efficient flow of materials and information from order management, receiving / warehous ing to assembly production lines.
- Ability to create accountability and lead by example .
- Strong team building, decision- making, and people management skills .
- Solid working knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and lean manufacturing
- Proficient in SAP and MS Excel .
- APICS Certification is a plus.
