Supply Chain Planning intern

What will you do?
- You will be integral to the materials planning process for our customized Engineer-to-Order (ETO) products. Your main focus will be ensuring materials are ordered and delivered precisely when needed, minimizing project delays and costs. You will also assist the Senior Planner in translating engineering designs and project timelines into accurate material requirements and schedules.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Analytical Aptitude: Ability to interpret data and use logical reasoning to solve supply problems (e.g., assessing the impact of a material shortage and production plan)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for negotiating with suppliers and collaborating with internal Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
- Organizational & Prioritization Skills: Ability to manage multiple and project timelines simultaneously with high attention to detail.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Active student of engineering
- Advanced English
- Basic familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical drawings will greatly support your planning success in an ETO setting. Previous internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to purchasing, inventory control, logistics or manufacturing is a strong asset.
