Supplier Production Leader

The Supplier Production Leader is accountable for end-to-end outside group (OG) or partner performance across the Modular Data Center (MDC) business, ensuring operational excellence at both the project level and the portfolio level. This role leads a cross-functional virtual production organization in a demanding growth including commissioning, supply chain, quality, and downstream flow controllers, to optimize project performance leveraging quality, material availability, production readiness, on-time delivery, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Performance Management
- Lead strategic and tactical supplier performance reviews.
- Monitor, analyze, and mitigate supplier risks.
- Drive supplier readiness for major project launches.
- Ensure robust supplier recovery plans.
- Project & Portfolio Production Leadership
- Serve as the single point of accountability for supplier material readiness.
- Provide accurate forecasts of supplier availability and constraints.
- Facilitate cross-functional war rooms.
- Ensure visibility of portfolio-level risks.
- Leadership of Virtual Production Team
- Lead commissioning, supply chain, quality, and flow controller functions.
- Set priorities and ensure alignment.
- Drive collaborative problem-solving.
- Establish cadence and communication routines.
- Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools.
- Standardize readiness processes and tools.
- Identify systemic supplier issues.
- Partner with engineering to improve manufacturability.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Interface with GSC, Procurement, Engineering, and PMO.
- Communicate status and risks to leadership.
- Support decisions around supplier selection and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar.
- 7-10+ years relevant experience.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in project-based businesses.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Lean/Kaizen and continuous improvement.
