Overview

This role establishes a centralized Business & Market Intelligence capability for Schneider Electric Services, delivering actionable insights and foresight to guide strategic decisions. It monitors market, industry, competitor, and customer trends, and translates findings into strategic recommendations that shape offerings, go-to-market strategies, and execution across the Service value chain.

Main Mission

  • Monitor developments and identify trends relevant to SE Service Business across macro-environment, industry, competitors, and customers.
  • Deliver strategic analysis and Service-specific insights for both tactical and future-oriented decisions.
  • Develop frameworks and tools for continuous tracking and benchmarking of Service market and business environment.
  • Articulate insights and recommendations to support decision-making and guide activities across the Service value chain from Strategy, Offering, Commercial & Go-to-Market to Execution & Delivery
  • Ensure systematic connectedness with SMEs across SE Services, Divisions, OPS/Zones for comprehensive intelligence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and industry analysis for SE Services, including macro trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Track competitor strategies, offerings, and performance benchmarks.
  • Analyze customer trends and evolving needs to inform Service strategy.
  • Prepare opportunity and threat assessments, strengths and weaknesses analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain Service Composite Index methodology and related tools.
  • Create dashboards, reports, newsletters, and trend analyses for stakeholder communication.
  • Contribute to improving format & approach to Service Annual Market Reporting and the annual refresh of the same
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs and external research partners for data gathering and validation; continuously expand the network of internal and external sources for intelligence.
  • Support foresight initiatives and scenario planning for long-term strategy.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in market intelligence, business analysis, or strategy roles.
  • Skills: Market research, competitive analysis, data visualization (Power BI/Tableau), strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for insight presentation.
  • Familiarity with service industry trends and digital transformation.
