Strategic Account Executive

Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive - Business Development & Acquisition to support strategic sales efforts across new verticals & logos. This role will focus on driving customer acquisition, managing complex sales engagements, and delivering innovative solutions for customers inside of the Cloud & Service Provider Segment. The successful candidate will represent Schneider Electric's portfolio, build strong relationships, and contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.

What will you do?

Sales Execution & Growth

  • Drive new customer acquisition and expand Schneider Electric's presence in strategic accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Utilize sales tools (Salesforce, Strategic Account Plan Tool - OnePlan, etc.) to maintain accurate forecasts and enhance customer experience.

Customer & Market Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across Schneider Electric's solutions portfolio.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity to position Schneider Electric effectively.

Operational Excellence
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and account plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance) to ensure smooth execution of deals.

Communication & Influence
  • Present solutions and value propositions to customers at various organizational levels.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and aligning Schneider Electric's offerings.

What's in it for you?

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $185,600.00 - $278,400.00 per year and an additional uncapped commission.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 20 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date) , opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in data center infrastructure or related industries.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Familiarity with power and thermal solutions is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
