Sr. Technical Support Engineer - Automation Drives

What will you do?

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for Automation and Drives solutions, providing advanced troubleshooting and guidance to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical cases, collaborating with engineering and global technical teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing recurring technical challenges and proposing process enhancements.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Develop and maintain high-value technical documentation, best practices, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, and Product Management to influence solution design and identify strategic business opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Represent the technical support function in cross-functional projects and customer engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Automation and Drives within Technical Support, Field Service, or Engineering roles.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
