Sr Costing Engineering Leader

  • Responsibilities
    
    1 - Animate the project team and lead the product cost simulation during the whole project phase with the product cost methodology (Design to Cost/Should cost/profitability...).
    
    Objective is to make the new product cost meet marketing target and offer the product cost for orient the design/supply chain/Industrialization strategy solution select in R&D phase.
    
    2 - Lead the Competitor Analysis on existing product cost of internal & external "benchmark" .
    
    3 - Explain the cost variance between project stage gate . Discover the cost risk and provide orientation for cost optimization action.
    
    4 -Guarantee the simulation of " produce " cost in project phase comply with the cost transfer to manufacturing plant for mass production.
    
    5 - Contribute to the continuous improvement of product cost with continuous engineering / localization /supply chain solution etc...)

Qualifications

Specific Competencies

• Strong Communication skills
• Knowledge of product cost structure ability to simulate the new parts cost base on drawing offered. knowledge of Project Management Process (PMP)
• Good sense of numbers,
• Prefer with experience in relative industrial manufacturing (assembly / tooling(plastic/metal) / electronic) or purchasing,
• Finance knowledge will be a plus
• Expected personal characteristics
• Strong communication skills , Leadership skills, efficient , agile & open minded .
• Ability to work in English with international people.
• Professional Experience
• Bachelor degree or above in engineering, more than 5 years relative experience in manufacturing industrialization /cost simulation/ production purchasing .
• Good sense of number
