Specialist, Warehouse Methods

Purpose of the position
The focus of this role is the full ownership of the manufacturing environment while simultaneously leading and
supporting warehouse engineering initiatives to sustain, optimize, and continuously improve business processes.
The position offers a unique opportunity to further develop industrial engineering competencies and provides a
strong platform for personal and professional growth.

Tasks:
Process Engineering
• Maintain and update design times and time measurements using the appropriate methodologies (MTM
(UAS/logistics), video analysis, etc.).
• Design and optimize standard layouts, including safety, quality, efficiency and ergonomic standards
• Support and coordinate new product introductions (NPI).
• Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve manufacturing processes using lean methodology tools

Ergonomics
• Conduct ergonomic assessments with a multidisciplinary team, covering physical, cognitive, and
organizational aspects
• Develop and implement action plans to improve ergonomics across the entire warehouse and office
environment
• Optimize tasks and workstations through technical, process, and organizational improvements
• Lead and drive the site's Ergonomic Excellence Program

Sustainability
• Drive sustainability initiatives within warehouse operations, with focus on packaging optimization, waste
reduction, circular economy principles, and reducing the environmental footprint of logistics processes
• Monitor, analyze, and report sustainability KPIs related to packaging, waste streams, resource
consumption, and environmental performance

Innovation & digital transformation
• Identify, evaluate, and benchmark emerging technologies that can improve operational performance,
productivity, quality, and employee experience
• Develop business cases, proof-of-concepts, and pilot projects for AI-driven, smart, and state-of-the-art
technological solutions
• Lead the implementation of digital tools, smart warehouse technologies, advanced analytics, and
automation initiatives

Profile
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (HBO level) or equivalent working and thinking level is required
