About the Role

We're seeking an experienced leader to manage our Solution Lab and a team of application engineers who integrate and demonstrate solutions in Building Automation, Energy Management, Analytics, Reporting, Dashboards, and more. This customer-facing, on-site leadership position requires someone who can translate complex technical requirements into compelling demonstrations for diverse audiences-from C-suite executives to consulting engineers and end users.

You'll balance competing priorities from customer visits, Segment Teams, R&D, and Offer Management while managing resources, refining use cases, and defining acceptance criteria that bring our digital building solutions to life.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $170,000 - $190,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United

States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Key Responsibilities

Solution Lab Operations

  • Lead daily operations and coordinate all customer visits
  • Manage the activities the the application engineering team
  • Allocate resources strategically based on project needs and team expertise

Presentations & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Deliver daily technical presentations to customers, consultants, and executives
  • Adapt demonstrations dynamically-providing technical depth or high-level overviews based on audience needs
  • Collaborate with application engineers to refine demonstration approaches

Solution Design & Innovation
  • Develop engaging, segment-specific displays for Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Commercial Real Estate, K-12, and other verticals
  • Partner with Global Solution Architects to meet evolving market needs

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work across Offer Management, R&D, and Solution Architecture teams to balance global requirements
  • Serve as the bridge between the Technology Office, Product Validation, Regional Sales, and Executive Management
  • Interface regularly with country organizations and end customers

Market Expertise
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the global building automation landscape
  • Understand competitive positioning (Building Automation and Power Solutions)
  • Apply domain expertise across Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, Critical Care Facilities, and more

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in building automation and controls engineering
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Strong background in application programming for building automation/power management
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution and energy monitoring
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Commitment to daily on-site presence and customer-facing responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (occasional)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree - BS / MS - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Sales or marketing experience
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
