Position Overview

Join our Solution Engineering team, as part of the Global Tendering organization, and help us position and sell our Grid Operations portfolio (ADMS, EGO, DERMS, ETO) to utilities worldwide. As a SCADA Solution Engineer, you will leverage your product knowledge, power engineering insights, and industry experience to act as the key technical point of contact during the tendering stage of the sales process. The primary focus is on the SCADA functional area within ADMS, ensuring customer business needs are mapped to the proposed solution in the most effective way.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary expert for the SCADA functional domain, with secondary involvement in other ADMS-related scopes.
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into accurate, structured technical responses, considering both commercial and technical aspects.
• Act as the technical lead for one or more ADMS functional areas throughout the tendering process.
• Identify necessary customizations, define high-level implementation scope, and support estimation efforts in collaboration with development teams.
• Participate in technical meetings, workshops, and Proof of Concept activities with potential customers (remote or on-site).
• Work closely with Tender Managers to shape and execute winning strategies for each opportunity.
• Support the sales team in pre ‑ sales engagements when deep technical expertise in SCADA functionality is required.

Qualifications/experience:

• University degree in Power Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in the SCADA functional area, including system behavior, telemetry, and real-time operations.
• Basic understanding of electrical power engineering and distribution network concepts.
• Any previous experience as a Solution Engineer or in a comparable technical/pre ‑ sales role will be considered an advantage.
• Any knowledge of additional ADMS functional domains-DMS/DERMS, EMS, OMS, Switching Management, or systems integration-will be considered an advantage.

Required skills:

• Fluent in written and spoken English (other languages such as Spanish, German, or French would be treated as an advantage ).
• Teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to constantly improve technical and soft skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive topics independently.
