As a Solution Architect you are responsible for defining the best architecture (Solar segment, System & Product) options considering Customer needs / Business challenge / Technical feasibility / Commercial / Supply chain / latest Digitization technologies. He /She must define the end-to-end architecture definition from an end device, IoT Gateway and connectivity to Digital CLOUD. The Solution Architect must be able to define the overall system level Validation Strategy including Digitation and Automation. She/he works closely with Project Sponsor and Project Management.

The Solution Architect has responsibilities for system level testing and validates results and ensures it meets business needs. The Solution Architect must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the project environment also for partners, be proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and potentially geographically disbursed project environment.

  1. Responsible defining the possible Architecture and Pro and Cons and Decision-making proposal, meeting budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan
  2. Meet and discuss with customer and understand the real application need and co-ordinate with Marketing team / Development team / Validation team.
  3. Lead and contribute to the System level FMEA
  4. Review and approve the system and product level validation strategy and plan
  5. Responsible to make sure, the proposed architecture meets all required industrial / application global standard (IEC) and geographical constraints.
  6. Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team's scope of responsibility.
  7. Make sure the right decisions are made at the right time.
  8. Promote the use of appropriate tools and best practices.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office, any design simulator and other programs including but not limited to Word and Excel.

Environment/Experience:
  • This position based in Bangalore, India
  • Vast experience in Renewable Energy - Mainly on Solar based products and Solution for Solar inverter power range upto 100KW.
  • Work experience on Solar inverters (Off-Grid / Hybrid / Grid Tie) with Energy Management system and PLC application definition.
  • End to End development life cycle from product to Edge to Cloud integration
  • Knowledge on IoT Device integration between Could system and Product
  • Provide scalable and reuseable system Arch
  • Bachelor Engineering or Master Engineering - Electrical / Electronic background preferred.
  • Experience: Total industrial Experience 15+years and minimum 5 year as Solution Architect in Renewable Energy (Mainly on Solar)
  • Project Management Professional is a must - experience in Electrical and Electronics industry and development of relevant products
  • Leadership in management: Project Management process knowledge
  • Knowledge on Power electronic products and development / Tendering Experience would be preferred
  • Proficiency: English must
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Position involves 30% travel in India, Africa and South East Asian countries, to meet customers and partners
