Job Description
Mission: The Senior QA Engineer will help ensure the quality of our application, by preparing, managing and executing both manual and automated tests. This person will also be responsible for contributing to setting up QA best practices and managing the full testing life cycle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to setting up QA processes and practices.
- Ensure quality of applications by creating/managing/executing both manual and automated tests.
- Understand business/engineering requirements to be able to better contribute to quality
- Write/manage/execute manual test cases, automated test scripts.
- Contribute to setting up QA processes and practices.
- Work in close co-ordination with teams located internationally.
- Understand and contribute to Agile processes
- Participate in sprints, scrum and release planning.

Profile: You are a well-rounded QA professional with around 4-5 years of experience in the area of Quality Assurance, and in testing of various types of software. You have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the drive to deliver on time.
Knowledge and Skills - Required
- 3-5 years Experience in at least one testing automation tool (preferably on Selenium,Playwright)
- Experience in Agile Development Methodology, working in sprints, SCRUM.
- Experience in at least one scripting/programming language - Java, JavaScript, VBScript, PERL, Python, Tcl etc.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Self Driven and able to complete tasks autonomously and under pressure
- Ability to grasp new concepts and skills quickly
- Knowledge of Selenium
Desired Skills
- Understand basic Data Centre related engineering concepts.
- Experience in testing Java stand alone applications, and especially Eclipse RCP framework based applications.
- Experience in automation using "Selenium" and TestNG.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification completed.
- Knowledge in the area of Data Centre Design.
Qualifications
BE/B.Tech/MCA in any branch
