Software Support Engineer (ADMS)

The Role
Schneider Electric Digital Grid Solutions provide real-time systems that help utilities run their electricity networks safely and efficiently. These include solutions like ADMS, GIS, DERMS, and other grid technologies.
We are looking for a Software Support Engineer (SPOC) to join our APAC Support team in Malaysia.
In this role, you will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned customers. This means you are the main person customers go to for support. You will coordinate issues, manage communication, and make sure everything runs smoothly from start to end.
What will you do ?
- Be the main point of contact for your customers, building strong relationships and trust.
- Run regular meetings (monthly, weekly, and as needed) to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Take ownership of tickets and incidents from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution.
- Keep customers updated on critical issues and help prevent escalations.
- Step in during major incidents and coordinate the right teams to fix issues quickly.
- Prepare and present monthly reports and updates with clear insights.
- Coordinate releases, patches, and deployments with internal teams and customers.
- Support and guide system changes and enhancements, helping customers understand impact.
- Manage user access and coordination across regional and global teams.
- Oversee hardware maintenance, ensuring systems remain stable and reliable.
- Help manage the financial health of support & maintenance contracts, including tracking and optimization.
- Work closely with and manage third-party vendors to ensure quality delivery.
- Join onsite visits when needed to support customers and strengthen relationships.
- Take part in the 24x7 on-call rotation and contribute to continuous improvement of support services.
What are the key skills & qualifications we are looking for ?
- Experience with Digital Grid solutions such as ADMS, GIS, or DERMS is a plus.
- Strong customer handling and communication skills.
- Good organization and time management.
- Able to handle critical issues in a calm and structured way.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work well with different teams across regions.
- Willing to travel occasionally within APAC if required.
