Yesterday• Al Khānkah, Egypt

As a Software Developer at Schneider Electric, you will design and develop robust applications that meet user needs and enhance operational efficiency. You will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, then take ownership of the solution from end to end: architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and handover.

As a technical specialist in application development, you will apply foundational knowledge of application engineering to deliver results, solve routine technical problems, and contribute to new technologies. You will work independently with general guidance, within defined parameters for quality, priorities, timing, and compliance. Your work will deliver reliable, efficient applications that streamline processes and improve productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements.

  • Implement application features based on requirements, working alongside team members to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and quality.
  • Test, deploy, and release solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and data quality.
  • Lead or support handover meetings, ensuring customers and support teams are fully equipped to use and maintain the delivered solution.
  • Deliver sprint outputs on time, applying Agile methodologies to ensure iterative development and continuous value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to resolve issues and deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Create and maintain documentation for application design, functionality, and processes.
  • Act as a technical problem-solver, proposing optimizations and enhancements that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
