Site Operations Manager

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of Plant 1 at the SWBD facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of products. This role provides overall leadership for site operations, including people management, process optimization, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Site Manager plays a key role in aligning plant performance with organizational objectives while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct, coordinate, and oversee all operations at Plant 1 (SWBD) to achieve production targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action as needed to meet site goals.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across all operational functions within the SWBD facility.

Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, develop, and motivate plant personnel to create a high‑performance culture.
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and development of employees to meet current and future site needs.
- Foster employee engagement, accountability, and teamwork across Plant 1.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development initiatives.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of quality across Plant 1 operations.
- Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Partner with Quality teams to support audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives at the SWBD facility.
Customer Service & Delivery
- Maintain high service levels by ensuring on‑time and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with supply chain, planning, logistics, and customer-facing teams to meet customer expectations.
- Proactively address issues that may impact customer delivery, service, or satisfaction.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant working environment at Plant 1.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Lead site safety initiatives including training, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Champion a safety‑first culture where employee well‑being is a top priority.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence tools.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance plant performance.
- Lead cross‑functional improvement projects within the SWBD facility.
- Support change management and standardization efforts across Plant 1 operations.
Who will you report to? Plant Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in a Site, Plant, or Operations Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
- Operational and strategic leadership.
- People development and team building.
- Results‑driven execution.
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Continuous improvement and problem‑solving mindset.
