Site Data Supervisor

We are seeking an individual to lead our master data and inventory accuracy teams in our new Mt. Juliet, TN plant. You will be responsible for developing and directing the master data team, new material creation taskforce, and backflush error team. These teams consistently maintain and improve SAP plant data, so the best decisions are made. You will ensure these teams are appropriately trained and staffed to deliver business results. You will analyze data trends and root cause issues to identify and drive improvement actions across the manufacturing plant.

What will you do? The teams you lead are responsible for the following activities:

Master data management:

  • Review and resolve data errors identified by applying data standards
  • Evaluate data maturity and processes to develop improvement actions
  • Perform data uploads at the conclusion of physical inventory
  • Provide appropriate SAP access based on role to new hires
  • Serve as the main contact for questions and concerns about data configuration
  • Foster a relationship with the data governance community and maintain compliance with all rules and guidelines

New material creation taskforce:
  • Retrieve, define, and load all required master data for part activation in a timely manner
  • Monitor progression of new material creation and remove any barriers
  • Streamline data gathering and creation process for quality and efficiency
  • Evaluate quality and on-time performance to adjust as needed

ZMFC error resolution:
  • Resolve material backflush issues from ZMFC queue in SAP
  • Root cause creation of ZMFC errors and coordinate with appropriate functions for future prevention
  • Update production order BOMs from engineering changes and communicate with impacted teams
  • Implement random audits on labor tracking and coach employees on the importance of accurately inputting time
  • Screen labor costs for abnormalities and address with the correct groups

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, business, or related field is required
  • 5+ years of experience in data management in manufacturing setting
  • Experience building and leading technical and diverse teams
  • Prior SAP experience (MM, EWM)
  • Proficient analyzing, manipulating, and translating large data sets (MS Excel, SQL, Python)
  • Experience planning and executing continuous improvement projects
