Service Representative-UPS

We are looking for the Service Representative will support the startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of Schneider Electric UPS systems. The role also involves assisting with data center assembly activities, basic power audits, and supporting customers in understanding the proper operation of their equipment.

The Service Representative will work closely with senior engineers and team members on standard and large-scale installation projects. This role is well suited for fresh graduates with a technical background who are eager to learn, gain hands-on field experience, and grow within a service-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical or power systems, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently after completing technical and on-the-job training. This role may require participation in 24/7 field service coverage, including shifts or on-call duties when assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of Schneider Electric UPS systems (single and modular).
  • Support data center assembly and installation activities for Schneider Electric containment systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision to ensure reliable equipment operation.
  • Assist with basic power audits of customer electrical distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, service partners, and sales teams during site visits and installation projects.
  • Provide basic technical support to customers and help explain UPS operation and common issues.
  • Accurately document work completed and assist in preparing service reports and maintenance records.
  • Label and return defective parts according to company procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Learn to read and understand technical manuals, procedures, and safety documentation.
  • Use computer tools such as email, spreadsheets, and service management systems.
  • Manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
  • Be willing to participate in rotational standby duties, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices through training and development programs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any recognized Engineering field.
  • Ability to work independently after completion of required training.
  • Strong interest in power systems and electrical equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong safety awareness.
  • Willingness to travel across the Gulf region. Valid driver's license is an advantage.
