Overview

Our Dunavecse plant is the largest Schneider Electric manufacturing site in Hungary and is a major driver for our Engineering-to-Order (ETO) business in Europe. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and analytical Value Stream Controller to support value stream - based financial reporting, cost control, and product cost calculation. The role plays an essential part in product lines' profit analysis and reports directly to Schneider Electric DSPS Finance Manager.

Location : Dunavecse (on site role)

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and maintain value stream - level financial reporting, including performance analysis and variance explanations .
  • Perform product cost calculations (CSC update, BOM/routing analysis, TP calculations) to support pricing and profitability evaluations.
  • Ensure effective cost control by monitoring expenses, identifying deviations, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Participate in month-end closing , ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes , providing input based on operational performance trends.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, global costing team, logistics, engineering, and management to support decision-making.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and data requests as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes and data quality.

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Controlling, Cost Accounting, or Financial Analysis
  • Coming from a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to international, matrix organizations.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Stakeholder management , can challenge when needed.
  • Fluency in English , French is a plus.
  • The role requires on site presence in the plant, 5 days a week.
