Senior Systems Test Engineer - LV Systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement verification and validation test protocols for LV control panels and complex electrical systems.
- Execute detailed verification and validation (V&V) tests to confirm compliance with system design, functional requirements, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and validation methodologies for electrical systems, including automated controls and protection schemes.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Schneider Electric LV systems, ensuring proper integration and reliable operation within LV control panels, motor management and protection sub-systems.
- Document and report validation findings, analyze results, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and troubleshooting strategies.
- Maintain and update testing documentation, including validation plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and technical reports.
- Identify and resolve issues within control and protection systems, optimizing system performance and reliability through rigorous testing.
- Review and interpret technical documents, including electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system architecture, to ensure alignment with validation protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of validation activities within the overall project timeline.
- Bring up test bench and test architectures with the help of test bench design teams.
- Identify and drive test automation wherever feasible in system verification and validation.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Atleast 3+ years of experience in electrical system validation, testing, and commissioning with a focus on LV panels and equipments.
- Good in Fundamentals of LV panels, loads, incomers, earthing, different types of feeders, Busbars, CT, VT
- Knowledge of IP Ratings: IP54, IP55
- Knowledge of various electrical sensors
- Protocols: Modbus, Ethernet IP, IEC61850
- Demonstrated knowledge of verification and validation processes in electrical control and protection systems.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to inform validation testing.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on system reliability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present validation outcomes.
Good to have :
- Experience with SCADA, DCS, HMI interface setup, and relay programming for system automation.
- Protection and Relays
- Motor control and PLC programming
- Experience with Power injection kits - Omicron Kits etc.
