The ELECTRA Program is a strategic initiative between Schneider Electric's Power Products and Power Systems divisions, focused on shaping the future of electrical power distribution across critical industries, including water and wastewater treatment, petrochemical, mining, metals, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing.

We are seeking a Senior Power Systems Architect for Heavy Industries to strengthen our market leadership across North and South America by guiding customers toward innovative, reliable, and sustainable power system solutions.
What You'll Do
Drive Customer Success

  • Design optimized MV/LV power system architectures that improve customer performance and Schneider Electric competitiveness.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand business challenges and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on power system design, protection, equipment sizing, power quality, and power conversion.
Shape Future Solutions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Schneider Electric's product and solution portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation electrical distribution architectures and technologies.
Influence the Industry
  • Partner with key customers, consultants, and ecosystem partners on complex technical challenges.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including white papers, webinars, conference presentations, and technical workshops.
Build Capability
  • Deliver technical training and support to sales, tendering, engineering teams, and external partners.
  • Share expertise with consulting engineers and design firms serving targeted industry segments.
What You Bring
  • Strong knowledge of industrial processes, particularly in water/wastewater treatment, petrochemical, mining, or heavy industry.
  • Deep expertise in power systems engineering, including network studies, protection, power quality, and power electronics.
  • Experience designing and optimizing MV/LV electrical distribution systems.
  • Strong understanding of Schneider Electric solutions, including MV/LV equipment, protection relays, monitoring, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and their integration into power systems.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Engineering or the equivalent of 15+ years of experience in electrical industry application development
• 5+ years experience in electrical system design
• 3+ years working in industrial or building applications
• Professional Engineering (PE) license strongly preferred
• PhD in Engineering preferred
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication and presentation skills required
• Willingness and ability to develop and elaborate technical communication materials to promote Schneider Electric solutions emphasizing on differentiation and customer benefits

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
