Senior Strategic Procurement

Lead strategic procurement and supplier relationship programs for Modular Data Centers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, rapid decision-making in a dynamic growth environment, and achievement of key performance metrics. Act as the primary escalation point for critical supplier issues and drive initiatives that enable operational excellence and scalability.

This role operates at the strategic level within the Modular Data Center business, managing procurement programs across multiple critical suppliers to ensure alignment with business objectives and rapid execution in a high-growth environment. The position serves as the primary escalation point for supplier-related issues and drives initiatives that enable scalability, cost optimization, and operational excellence

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business growth and modular data center objective
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers for key components such as HVAC systems, electrical gear, steel structure (empty enclosures) and prefrabricated modules.
  • Operate in a fast-growth environment requiring quick, informed decisions to support evolving business needs.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic suppliers, fostering collaboration and resolving escalations.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to anticipate changes and adjust strategies proactively.
  • Lead negotiations (pricing, contract, deliveries) with top-spend and critical suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal.
  • Manage contract risks and resolve disputes or performance issues.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical issues impacting supply continuity or project timelines.
  • Develop long-term supplier relationships and manage performance metrics (OTD, Quality, Productivity, spend, etc.)
  • Lead cross-functional procurement programs and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee procurement program governance, ensuring compliance and alignment with global standards.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of procurement projects

Support project bids and proposals (Tender) with accurate procurement data and lead times.
  • Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities and improve procurement efficiency
  • Provide timely reporting and insights to senior leadership on supplier performance (KPIs) and program status.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and legal to ensure seamless execution.

  • What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
    • Proven experience in supplier relationship management and program oversight
    • Ability to manage escalations and resolve complex issues quickly
    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills in high-growth, dynamic environments
    • Change management and transformation leadership
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurment tools.
    • High emotional intelligence and decision-making ability

    • NAM Project & Services Supply Chain Director

    What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
    • English fluency is a must. Another language will be valuable
    • 8+ years in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 4 years in modular construction or data center environments.
    • Cross functional and cross border experience
    • Familiarity with modular data center components and vendors
    • Advance level on Microsoft packages
