Senior Solution Architect - Digital Grid

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Solution Architect (SA) to join our Digital Grid team and lead the successful delivery of our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) and Digital Grid product portfolio across the APAC region.

Reporting to the APAC Grid Operation Systems Program Leader, you will be the architecture authority for end‑to‑end ADMS customer projects ensuring secure, scalable, high‑performance, fully integrated solutions that meet both customer expectations and internal standards.

This is a senior, hands‑on technical leadership role at the heart of our mission‑critical utility transformation projects.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead end‑to‑end solution, system, and software architecture for ADMS projects across the APAC region, ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑performance outcomes
  • Drive cybersecurity-by-design across roles and permissions, segmentation, firewall policies, auditing, logging, and backup strategies
  • Oversee sizing and capacity planning for compute, storage, databases, and networks, and work closely with Infrastructure Architecture on high availability and reliability
  • Define and supervise integration architecture including ETL flows, near real‑time interfaces, model promotion, and online data exchanges
  • Own performance engineering and non‑functional requirements, including scenario design, performance testing guidance, and technical troubleshooting
  • Support testing, deployment, cutover, and go‑live activities while ensuring architectural integrity, documentation accuracy, and risk mitigation throughout the delivery lifecycle


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles within mission‑critical OT/IT environments
  • Strong knowledge of ADMS, SCADA/DMS/OMS/EMS, or similar operational systems
  • Hands‑on experience with integrations, APIs, middleware, SQL Server, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies
  • Cybersecurity experience including identity and role management, segmentation, hardening, and backup/restore practices
  • Proven experience leading design FAT/SAT performance testing cutover go‑live cycles
  • Strong documentation capabilities across ADD, SCP, sizing models, and integration specifications
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, TFS/JIRA, and MS 365 collaboration tools.
