Senior Service /Project Engineer - Tridum Niagra

Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with deep expertise in Tridium Niagara (N4) who can engineer, design, configure, and commission building management and control solutions from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of experience working with Niagara frameworks, including legacy platforms such as AX, and will bring a strong understanding of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON). This role is well-suited to someone seeking long-term career progression within Schneider Electric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Engineering of Building Control / Automation Systems
  • Engineer end - to - end Tridium Niagara N4 solutions, including station architecture, logic programming, graphics, drivers, and system integration.
  • Apply working knowledge of AX and legacy frameworks for migration and lifecycle projects.
  • Design and configure systems using BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON and open protocols.
  • Use ETS software for KNX installations.
  • Produce and interpret engineering, network, and schematic drawings.
  • Carry out site-based commissioning, controller configuration, testing, and optimisation.

Management of Project Execution:
  • Develop project engineering plans, equipment schedules, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure aligned delivery.
  • Lead project handovers, client demonstrations, and training sessions.

Maintaining Positive Customer Relationships:
  • Act as a primary technical contact for assigned projects.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and principal contractors.
  • Advise customers on energy efficiency and optimisation opportunities.
  • Promote Schneider Electric's values and best practices.

Supporting Documentation for Projects:
  • Produce high-quality technical reports, commissioning reports, and system audits.
  • Write and issue RAMS in line with safety standards.
  • Prepare complete O&M and handover packages.
  • Assist with proposals and quotations for engineering changes or upgrades.

Skills & Experience:
  • 5-10+ years' experience delivering projects using Tridium Niagara N4.
  • Experience with Niagara AX and migration projects.
  • Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON, MQTT, and IP networking.
  • Ability to build graphics, dashboards, alarms, schedules, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to lead technical meetings and represent the company professionally.
  • Competence with commercial processes, including variations and procurement.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple workstreams.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Team-oriented with strong integrity and high-quality standards.
