Senior Project Manager - Data Centres
Join Schneider Electric's Cloud & Service Provider (C&SP) business, a key pillar within our Secure Power division. This team delivers integrated "One Solution" offerings across power, cooling, and digital infrastructure, enabling hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers to build scalable, resilient, and sustainable data centres.
Based in Sydney, you'll work with a highly skilled state team and collaborate with a broader projects network across Australia and New Zealand.
As a Senior Project Manager within our One Solution delivery model, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful outcomes through strong customer partnerships and proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
What Will You Do?
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved
- Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, cost control, and risk mitigation
- Act as the primary customer interface, building trusted relationships and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, safety, and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes
- Manage contractors, vendors, and third parties, ensuring alignment to project requirements and standards
- Conduct site visits and oversee delivery in live construction/data centre environments
- Apply strong commercial acumen to manage project profitability and contractual obligations
About You
- Proven experience delivering complex projects in electrical, construction, or data centre environments
- Strong project management capability with formal methodology knowledge (PMP or equivalent preferred)
- Management of Industrial relations (IR) site organisational requirements would be an advantage
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management
- Hands-on experience in construction sites and electro-intensive environments
- Electrical background through Engineering degree or Trade qualification
- Current and unrestricted driver's licence
