Our Data Centre business is experiencing strong growth, and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Data Centre Cloud & Service Provider (C&SP) PMO, delivering complex, high‑value infrastructure projects across Victoria.
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who thrives on construction sites, enjoys hands‑on delivery, and brings strong technical and commercial acumen to every stage of the project lifecycle.

Due to sustained growth within our key Data Centre customer accounts, we are expanding our PMO capability to support the delivery of medium to large‑scale, mission‑critical projects. You will play a key role in protecting and improving project margin, managing risk, and ensuring Schneider Electric continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for both clients and the business.

The role at a glance
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of integrated "One Schneider" solutions, leveraging internal and external resources across multiple concurrent projects.
Projects are typically delivered on:
- Tier 1 construction sites, or
- Live, operational Data Centres
This is a site‑intensive role:
- 4-5 days per week on active project sites (primarily Melbourne's west)
- Projects typically run 6-12 months
- Once projects close, a hybrid model applies
What you'll be responsible for
You will be accountable for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to Schneider Electric governance standards, including:
- Leading medium to large, high‑profile projects
- Full compliance with the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process (CPP)
- Managing multiple concurrent projects, schedules, resources, and budgets
- Owning project financials, forecasting, margin protection, and cost control
- Managing subcontractors, vendors, and industrial relations
- Presenting confidently to customers, senior management, and Steering Committees
- Maintaining a consistently high level of customer satisfaction
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience, ideally within: Data Centres, Tier 1 construction, Engineering, electrical, mechanical, or critical infrastructure environments
- Proven delivery of complex construction projects with:
- Budgets > $5M
- Schedules > 12 months
- Senior executive sponsorship
- Great commercial and financial acumen, including reporting and forecasting
- Experience managing Australian construction projects, including IR considerations
- Trade qualification (Electrical or Refrigeration) and/or University degree / post‑graduate qualification or equivalent experience
- PMP or equivalent certification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months)
- Formal Project Management training
