We are currently seeking an V2 Sales for Energy Automation business in Eastern Region

Reporting to the Energy Automation India Sales leader, you will be focusing on EPC, End users ,Consultants and Contractors in segments like Power & Grid, Transportation, Oil& Gas(OGP), MMM and Data Center.

To achieve Order booking, sales revenue and growth goals.

The primary responsibility of the role includes (but is not limited to): To explore the opportunities for Energy Automation (EA) in P&G, OGP, MMM, Transportation and Data center segments and generate Funnel.

Achieve Sales target and growth goals Develop relationships Manage Key Accounts

Achieve standardization Drive Spec-in with Consultants for Ecostruxure Layer-2 & 3 Develop business through Ecoxperts in the region Support Greater India zones like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh etc..

Professional experience of 5-10 years with 5 years of Sales / Commercial / tendering with exposure in handling customers

About the position

Here is an exciting opportunity for V2 Sales for Eastern region to be part of the Schneider Electric Digital Power Commercial team and provide the services to the customer of several segments i.e.,Power & Grid, renewables Oil & Gas, C&SP and Transport, etc.

Represent DPSYS Sales in Eastern Region that includes Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh as well along with Eastern part of India.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Closely work with V1 team for developing and executing annual business plans for Eastern region
  • Map out leads (Projects under execution, projects proposed etc.) and work with the V1 Sales team & other stakeholders to increase the win rate
  • Ensure early engagement and participation in opportunities, including prescription, bid to bid support etc..
  • Collaborate with segments teams/V1 teams in segments like P&G, Electro-Intensive segment etc..
  • Ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders (Engineering team (System Architects), BU marketing teams, Segment teams) to execute the growth strategy for Energy Automation solutions in the region
  • Own Sales & OB target for the region and achieve the annual sales KPIs
  • Develop business through Ecoxperts in the region and Support Greater India countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh etc..

Education Qualification/ Work Experience :
  • A Bachelor / Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from accredited university.
  • Candidate should have Sales/ tendering / BD background with 7-10 years of work experience in Energy Automation Solutions and 5 years in direct customer facing role

Skills:
  • Understanding of products, solutions, protocols (IEC61850, Modbus, IEC 101, 104) and network topologies (RSTP, PRP, HSR etc) proposed in an OT industrial environment for Energy Management domain. (across multiple segments such as O&G, Utilities, Transportation, Datacenters etc)
  • Domain Knowledge on Protection relays, RTU and Substation Automation systems
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards
  • Deep understanding on Electro-intensive segments like P&G, MMM and Oil & Gas
  • Should have the ability work with Consultants/ End users for influencing in Prescription of Energy Automation solutions
  • Define GTM for projects either through Direct or through EcoXpert (Partner)
  • Ability to pursue multiple stakeholders in collaboration with respective internal teams is a must
  • Successful track-record in establishing local customer intimacy through connections at Executives level and key decision makers within the customer organization
  • Strong influencing skills and intercultural skills
  • Patience is a virtue, due to the long lifecycle of project and plenty of variables which makes things very unpredictable. Should be self-motivated to carry oneself through any situation.

  • People person, as the job largely involves working together/ Collaboration with V1 sales/ Segment team of different experience levels from his / her assigned regions
