Senior Manager - Tender Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review customer RFQ's, specifications and tender specifications for Field Service activities
  • Identify cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with local and international stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Interact with Customers when required, leveraging your technical knowledge to provide solutions
  • Contribute to the business growth in accordance with company strategy and ambition
  • Prepare costing sheet and offer document, ensuring that margin levels are achieved whilst respecting market price levels
  • Prepare quotations which define the technical solution proposed, whilst mitigating technical, financial, and operational risks
  • Produce quotations within agreed SLAs
  • Manage own workload, taking account of changing priorities
  • Timely handover to operations for successful delivery

Requirements:
  • Electrical Engineering background with >5 years' experience in Tendering
  • Previous experience in the supply, Installation, and site testing of Medium and Low Voltage Equipment, Protection Relays
  • Previous experience in the submission of tenders and preparing quotations, operating to set processes with a level of rigour
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, single line diagrams, and commercial terms & conditions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Understanding Schneider Electric Digital Solutions is a plus
