What will you do:

• Comprehending user requirements and implementing or expanding AVEVA PI across various
Areas, sites.
• Active participation in technical discussions regarding new solutions, as well as identifying
opportunities for standardizing processes within the PI project delivery framework.
• Leading a team of PI developers, the individual will ensure that assigned projects are
completed on schedule while fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve project
success.
• Ability to identify missing data and gaps in existing PI server configurations. Experience in
evaluating data streams and configurations for reusability and optimization. Remotely
evaluate site's PI server to determine the data quality.
• evaluating the existing PI server infrastructure, identifying available data, documenting gaps,
and assessing the reusability of existing configurations to optimise and align to standards.
• The individual is expected to cultivate specialized domain knowledge in relevant process and
systems.
• Training and mentoring new team members is a key responsibility, along with providing

hands-on leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of technical aspects of
integration projects.
• This includes facilitating meetings, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to established
standards while maintaining robust PI integrations with source systems.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in the implementation,
development, maintenance, and technical support of the AVEVA PI system, including
installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Proficiency in PI AF, EF, Notifications, PI Vision, PI WEB API, Integrators, Connectors, and
adapters is essential.
• Good knowledge and experience on Installation and configuration of different types of
interfaces- PI OPC/RDBMS/UFL/PI to PI with failover and configuring PI Buffer subsystems.
• Troubleshooting issues related to the PI Server, PI Interfaces, AF Server, and PI Client Tools.
• A strong grasp of AVEVA PI architecture, ISA 95 architecture.
• Should be strong in database querying skills in Oracle or SQL.
• The candidate should be adept at collaborating with diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication.
• Educational Qualifications
o UG - B. Tech /B.E. or other equivalent technical qualifications
