Senior Manager, Global Talent Management & OD - Assessments & Culture

Mission

The Senior Manager, Global Talent Management & OD serves as Schneider Electric's global expert and strategic advisor on assessments, culture diagnostics, and organization development methodology. This role ensures the ethical, consistent, and high-impact use of the Schneider Electric Assessment Suite and plays a pivotal role in shaping culture insights in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and in the enterprise-wide deployment of Upward Feedback. Operating in a sophisticated, global matrix environment, the role strengthens leadership effectiveness, organizational health, and the maturity of Talent Management capabilities worldwide.
Reporting Structure

This role reports to the VP Global Talent & Organizational Development and partners closely with the global Talent Management leadership community, HRBPs, the M&A team, and regional/country HR networks to drive adoption, quality, and impact of assessment and culture tools across Schneider Electric.
Key Responsibilities
Global Assessments Governance & Expertise

  • Serve as the global owner and governance lead for the Schneider Electric Assessment Suite, ensuring validated, ethical, and contextually appropriate use across geographies.
  • Provide expert consulting, advisory support, and coaching to Talent Management professionals and HR colleagues on assessment selection, application, interpretation, and integration into talent decisions.
  • Build capability across the global Talent Management community by enabling skill-building, guidance, and best-practice sharing to increase adoption and impact of assessments.
  • Continuously evaluate new tools, trends, and methodologies to keep the assessment suite modern, evidence-based, and aligned with business needs.
  • Run collective analytics with vendors and shape insights to influence leadership actions and development. Also connect with topics like One Voice, Culture etc.
Driving Governance and Utilization of Assessments Across Entities
  • ExCom People Committee: Work closely with SVP TIC and VP Global TM&OD to ensure use of assessments in selection processes for key SVP Positions raised in monthly ExCom People Committees. Key collaborators include Entity TMs, Executive Recruitment
  • Shape the back-end transformation of assessment administration with the Talent Services Team. Focus on simplification of all processes to make assessment administration efficient and effective.
Personally Lead Annual Assessment Exercises for Target Populations
  • External Assessment Centers with vendors like Heidrick & Struggles, Korn Ferry etc.
  • Internal Assessment Centers for key populations like GTPs, Tech Leaders etc. to determine potential for talent acceleration and chart development
  • Work in Mission Based teams to design and personally deliver the assessment centers
Culture Assessment in M&A
  • Partner with the M&A team to assess organizational culture in potential acquisitions and integrations, leveraging validated diagnostic instruments.
  • Provide expert interpretation of culture insights to inform decision-making, risk identification, and integration planning.
  • Take ownership of instruments and process design for culture assessments, including evolving tools and approaches.
  • Participate hands-on in select culture assessments, shaping recommendations for leaders and HR partners.
Enterprise Ownership of Upward Feedback
  • Lead the global deployment of Upward Feedback, enabling managers to receive structured, behavior-based feedback aligned with the Impact Leader Code.
  • Strengthen quality and adoption of the process through communication, user experience improvements, and change management.
  • Partner with HRBP and Talent communities to translate insights into development plans and leadership action.
  • Continuously enhance the design and methodology of Upward Feedback to meet evolving leadership expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Assessment-related roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychometrics, assessments, culture diagnostics, or leadership evaluation tools. Great to have experience in Assessment Tools like: Hogan, Insights by Discovery, Leadership Versatility Index, Growth Leader Assessment
  • Assessment Centre Development and deployment skills in global contexts also a great to have
  • Experience supporting M&A activities (culture, talent, or OD domains preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across cultures and geographies.
  • Proven ability to work with a Mission-based mindset and with high accountability even in ambiguous and complex situations.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, facilitation, and consulting capabilities.
  • Commitment to ethical assessment practice, inclusion, and evidence-based decision-making.
