The Opportunity


The Senior Logistics Project Manager will manage and implement strategic projects for the Pacific Zone together with the coordination, implementation and maintenance of all transformation logistics projects.

Reporting to the Logistics Network and Transformation leader and with functional reporting to the Digital Program leader, this role is key to the successful management of multiple projects focused on internal customer's global logistics requirements.

You will work closely with 3pl and 4pl providers along with internal and third-party vendors and drive PMP adoption of 'Global Program Suite' of tools .

This role can be based at our SMART Office in Macquarie Park NSW or at our Distribution Centre in Ingleburn NSW. Regular travel between these two sites is a requirement of the role.

  • Ensure strong adherence to stage gate management during project life cycle
  • Apply relevant Change Management principles and activities in programs where people are impacted
  • Govern the compliance of project/program documentation, sop documentation and validation documentation
  • Report regularly to Global Operations and stakeholders on key performance indicators for each program of work

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Logistics or a relevant Supply Chain field
  • Supply Chain and logistics continuous improvement experience within the technology industry sector with a strong understanding of six sigma qualification being advantageous
  • Experience managing multiple supply chain projects across an international business
  • Advanced or expert knowledge of transportation, distribution centre, global flows and trade compliance, network modelling, and supply chain management and systems
  • Desire to have PMP/Prince 2 or other tertiary qualification on project management
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced relationship and collaborative skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Early adopter of compliant business practices and software skills including Tableau, O365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management Software incl FTA, EDI, flow design
  • Attention to detail with accuracy is essential together with the ability to meet schedule deadlines
  • Problem solving and analytical skills for developing creative solutions
