Senior Industrial Manufacturing Engineer (Contractor)

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to lead and drive manufacturing excellence through process optimization, continuous improvement, and innovation, delivering tangible results in productivity, cost efficiency, and quality performance.

What will you do?

• Process Design & Optimization
  
  • Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and workflows.
  
  • Define and improve cycle time, takt time, and line balancing.
  
  • Drive capacity analysis, bottleneck identification, and productivity improvements.
  
  • Design and validate new processes for new product introduction (NPI).
  
  • Perform advanced time and motion studies.
  
  • Develop optimized plant layouts, workstation design, and material flow.
• Continuous Improvement & Lean Leadership
  
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, waste elimination).
  
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects.
  
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical Engineering, manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skill

• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytics is a plus.

• Experience with ERP/MES systems.

• Familiarity with CAD, layout design tools, or simulation software.

• Understanding of automation or digitalization concepts.

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing tools.

Key Competencies

• Strong expertise in Lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, Six Sigma basic knowledge).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

• Project management capability (planning, execution, stakeholder management).

• Ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial engineering environment.

• Proven experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and project leadership
