Senior General Manager - MMM Segment (Metals, Minerals & Mining) Sales
Purpose of the Role
Drive profitable growth, market share expansion, customer engagement, and strategic account development across the Metals, Minerals & Mining segment in East India. Lead specification, project influence, and business development initiatives while strengthening relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants, OEMs, and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue
Deliver Orders, Revenue, and Profitability targets for the East Region.
Build and execute the MMM segment growth strategy.
Develop a strong pipeline.
Drive penetration of Schneider Electric's Electrical Distribution, Industrial Automation, Digitalization, and Energy Management solutions.
Customer & Market Development
Establish CXO-level relationships with major steel, mining, cement, and mineral processing companies.
Engage with EPCs, consultants, and project influencers.
Identify emerging opportunities and investment plans in the region.
Lead strategic account planning for key customers.
Specification & Prescription
Ensure Schneider solutions are specified before tender release.
Drive approvals of key products and solutions.
Conduct value-selling and technical workshops for customers and consultants.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor application teams and sales resources.
Build a high-performance culture focused on growth and customer centricity.
Develop succession plans and capability-building initiatives.
Strategic Projects
Track major investments in Steel, Mining, Cement, Metals, and Minerals industries.
Influence projects from concept to order conversion.
Collaborate with factories, tendering, marketing, and service teams to maximize win rates.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
Provide actionable insights to leadership.
Recommend strategic interventions for market share gains.

Preferred Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation).
MBA preferred.
15-20+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Electrical Distribution, Power Systems, or Process Industries.
Strong exposure to Steel, Cement, Mining, Minerals, and Metals customers.
Proven experience managing large regional businesses and teams.
