Senior Events Specialist

The US Innovation Experience Marketing team is seeking a seasoned Senior Events Specialist with deep experience delivering executive-level marketing experiences, incentive travel programs, and high-touch hospitality for C‑suite and VIP audiences. This role partners closely with key stakeholders to translate Schneider's strategy, innovation, and brand story into compelling, thoughtfully designed live experiences. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in executive engagement and premium event delivery, while remaining agile and adaptable to support a broad portfolio of events-including industry trade shows-as business needs evolve. This individual will balance strategic vision with operational rigor, ensuring every experience reflects Schneider's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and customer impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Strategy, Planning & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of proprietary events, executive programs, and incentive travel experiences that advance strategic business priorities.
  • Translate complex business and marketing objectives into clear event strategies, ensuring each experience reinforces Schneider's brand story, innovation narrative, and customer value proposition.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting business needs by supporting additional event formats-including industry trade shows and conferences-when required.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, working collaboratively to shape event goals, messaging frameworks, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, communications, and executive offices to ensure alignment on audience strategy, storytelling, and measurable impact.

Incentive Travel & Hospitality
  • Lead planning and logistics for incentive travel programs, including destination analysis, experience design, partner management, and attendee support.
  • Ensure exceptional execution and elevated hospitality consistent with Schneider's expectations for high-performing teams and senior-level audiences.

Operational Excellence & Logistics Management
  • Oversee all operational components of events, including venue evaluation, contract negotiation, travel logistics, catering, transportation, onsite operations, and contingency planning.
  • Apply structured project management practices to maintain clarity, accountability, and readiness throughout all phases of planning.

Budgeting, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Build and manage event budgets with precision, forecasting needs, tracking expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Deliver executive-ready updates, dashboards, and post-event reports that highlight impact, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $101,600 - $152,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 6+ years of experience managing meetings, conferences, trade shows, and proprietary events
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, high-visibility events with multiple stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
  • Deep knowledge of trade show and proprietary event strategies, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency with event management platforms and tools (e.g., Cvent).
  • CMP and/or CTMS certification strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% within the United States.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Working Conditions and Environment:
  • Travel is required (30% or less).
  • Primarily a general office environment but includes onsite hosting of events and conferences.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as events require.
  • Ability to lift and carry items for events, generally weighing less than 50 lbs.
