Senior End Users & Strategic Customers Field Sales Representative
The Senior End Users & Strategic Customers Field Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with strategic end users and key customers, driving business growth through consultative selling, influencing specifications, and promoting Schneider Electric's portfolio of solutions. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and positioning Schneider Electric as a trusted advisor in energy management and automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic end users, key accounts, consultants, developers, contractors, and decision-makers.
- Build and execute account plans aligned with Schneider Electric's business objectives.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions leveraging Schneider Electric's portfolio.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
Business Development
- Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets.
- Drive specification activities to secure Schneider Electric solutions in customer projects at an early stage.
- Expand Schneider Electric's footprint by increasing project pipeline and market share.
- Monitor market trends, customer investments, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.
Sales Execution
- Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through project closing.
- Manage and develop a robust sales pipeline using Schneider Electric sales tools and methodologies.
- Achieve assigned sales, profitability, and growth targets.
- Collaborate with channel partners and ecosystem stakeholders to maximize project success.
Customer Engagement & Solution Selling
- Promote Schneider Electric's integrated solutions across Electrification, Energy Management, Building Solutions, Home & Distribution, and Sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, workshops, and executive engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customers' operational, sustainability, digitalization, and energy efficiency challenges.
- Support customers in achieving their decarbonization and energy transition objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Offer Management, Tendering, Technical Support, Project Execution, and Customer Success teams.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage best practices and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in the development and execution of vertical market strategies.
Forecasting & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and opportunity tracking through CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, market intelligence, customer activities, and business performance.
- Develop action plans to close performance gaps and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the electrical, automation, energy management, or related industries.
- Proven track record in managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles.
- Experience working with end users, consultants, developers, EPCs, contractors, and large enterprises.
- Experience in solution selling and influencing customer specifications.
- Experience in a multinational and matrix organization is preferred.
