Senior Automation Engineer

Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our Industry business and help us deliver world‑class industrial automation solutions. What You'll Do:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in providing advanced technical support, engineering expertise, and hands‑on project execution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support for internal and external customers within Industry Business and Global Operations.
• Delivering expert guidance on PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and Industrial Networks.
• Configuring, developing, and commissioning SCADA & PLC solutions across multiple Schneider Electric platforms.
• Building strong partnerships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and reinforce Schneider Electric's trusted brand.
• Supporting engineering tasks, product licensing, upgrades, and application improvements.
• Contributing to digital transformation and enterprise solution initiatives.
• Staying up to date with new technologies and advising clients on improvement opportunities.
• Translating customer constraints into actionable technical solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience working with:
• PLC and SCADA programming & configuration
• Microsoft operating systems and industrial communication networks
• Customer technical support and relationship management
• Strong capability in technical reporting and documentation.
• Familiarity with health & safety regulations, including risk analysis and audits.

Technical Skills We Value:

• Deep expertise in SCADA systems, particularly: Aveva Plant SCADA & Aveva System Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Schneider Electric PLCs (M580, M340) and EcoStruxure Control Expert.
• Experience with EcoStruxure Process Expert is a plus.
• Understanding of structured programming, industrial protocols, and networking equipment.
• Ability to interpret and develop technical documentation.
