Segment and End User Solution Sales Manager

This position is for a Segment and End User Solution Sales Manager in Singapore, to drive strategic growth of Schneider Electric's Digital Energy portfolio-covering Building Management Systems, Energy/Power Monitoring, and End‑User Digital Energy Solutions-within the Government ecosystem.
This role blends enterprise account management with technical solution sales, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, long‑term intimacy, and competitive differentiation for Schneider Electric as a trusted technology partner.
The role also owns execution of CPP phases (S0/S1/S2), quality pipeline development, and margin optimization across ongoing and new government opportunities.
What will you do:
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a representative to Government agencies for mainly non‑classified / non‑confidential Digital Energy opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues quickly, and ensure high satisfaction in every interaction.
- Position Schneider Electric as a strategic technology partner, fostering deeper intimacy and long‑term trust.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders including government agencies, consultants, contractors, FM operators, and project owners.
- Maintain strong working relationships across the Government value chain.
Sales & Business Growth (Government)
- Own and grow the assigned Government pipeline to ~30M, ensuring strong S0 creation and healthy conversion.
- Drive end‑user solution selling for DEUS, across the associated baskets.
- Lead SOC actions to secure high‑quality orders with maximum attainable margins.
- Take over and drive ongoing Government‑related projects ensuring strong animation with contractors' teams to win.
- Execute operating plans, define account strategies, and manage bFO pipeline according to SE standards.
Technical Solution Ownership
- Serve as the technical representative to government agencies, providing:
- Solution consultation
- Product and system troubleshooting
- Technical question resolution
- Clarification support for tenders, designs, and specifications
- Collaborate with internal and external eco-systems to deploy winning, compliant solutions
Tender & Quotation Excellence
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver winning quotes at optimal margins.
- Ensure solution completeness, compliance to government requirements, and alignment with procurement guidelines.
- Drive optimization for IG and OG to maximize DE profitability.

Ecosystem & Segment Development
- Expand SE's presence within the broader Government ecosystem - agencies, consultants, panel builders, integrators.
- Support national initiatives related to smart bases, smart camps, sustainability, digitalization, and efficiency.
- Participate in segment strategy development for government infrastructure and mission‑critical facilities.
Customer Project Process (CPP) Ownership
- Fully own and execute S0 S1 S2 phases for all government and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, timely updates in bFO and ensure all opportunities comply with CPP discipline.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution from pursuit to award.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Enterprise Sales (Building & Critical Segments)
- Digital Building Application Center (DBAC)
- Digital Power Application Center (DPAC)
- Services, marketing, and tendering teams
- Ensure Schneider Electric operates with a One Digital Energy (One DE) mindset for maximum customer value.
What will make you successful:
Education
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Automation, or related fields).
Experience
- 5-10 years experience in Government, Enterprise or End‑User solution sales.
- Exposure to BMS, EMS, Power Monitoring, or related Digital Energy solutions.
- Experience managing large accounts with long procurement cycles (Government advantageous).
- Strong understanding of Singapore's government buying processes and consultant/contractor ecosystem.
- Proven track record in technical‑solution selling and margin‑focused tender pursuits.
Soft Skills
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent presentation and value‑proposition articulation skills.
- Strong negotiation ability; resilient closer.
- Able to work independently yet thrive in cross‑functional collaboration.
- Highly organized with strong prioritization and pipeline discipline.
