SAP S/4 Solution Architect

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $168,800 - $253,200 per year, which
includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United
States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within
the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a
comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward

flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect with deep functional and technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering world‑class digital solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience shaping large‑scale SAP transformations, thrives in cross‑functional environments, and can drive design decisions that balance business value, standardization, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Architecture Leadership

  • Design end‑to‑end solution templates and functional architecture aligned with business requirements, digital guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Drive standardization and ensure alignment across business units and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Product Owners, Analysts, and Architects to shape product roadmaps and future enhancements.
  • Lead process modeling, fit/gap analysis, and solution confirmation activities to determine configuration vs. customization needs.

Business Partnership & Requirements Definition
  • Engage deeply with business and digital stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend innovative, scalable, and standardized solution options that reduce custom development where possible.

Integration & Delivery
  • Identify cross‑functional dependencies and guide critical design decisions.
  • Provide direction on integration architecture and end‑to‑end business process design.
  • Support creation and prioritization of the solution backlog (Capabilities & Features).
  • Drive definition of E2E integration test scenarios.

Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure solution consistency through SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM & Solution Documentation).
  • Support risk identification, resolution of design issues, and continuous improvement across the program.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, PI planning, and backlog refinement.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Core Experience
  • 10+ years of industry and/or consulting experience.
  • 5+ SAP full‑lifecycle implementations.
  • 5+ years as an SAP Solution Architect.
  • Strong expertise with SAP S/4HANA On‑Premise and a clear understanding of standard capabilities and best practices.

Functional Expertise

Deep SAP knowledge across multiple domains, including:
  • Finance & FSCM
  • Order‑to‑Cash (SD, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
  • Customer & Sales Operations
  • Mobility, UX, Cloud, Data Management, and Analytics

Technical & Delivery Skills
  • Ability to design complex integrated SAP architectures and prototype solutions.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, including offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
