Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO Consultant & CPI Integration Expert to design, develop, and support integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of integration architecture, middleware technologies, and hands-on experience with SAP Process Integration (PI), Process Orchestration (PO), SAP Integration Suite and related tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using SAP PI/PO (ESR, ID) and Integration Suite.
- Build and configure interfaces using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, File/FTP, SFTP, Odata, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Salesforce and other adapters.
- Develop complex mappings using Graphical, Java, Groovy Scripts, XSLT mappings and Palette functions.
- Build end to end EDI Interfaces using Idoc, EDIFACT/X12 message and configure TPM settings in CPI/PI/PO.
- Ensure Security & Compliance in flows wherever necessary by using OAuth 2.0, Principal Propagation, SAML, JWT, SSL & secrets management (Keystore/Service Keys) and PGP encryption/decryption.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CPI/PI/PO message flows, performance issues, and system errors.
- Work closely with functional teams, ABAP developers, and business stakeholders in Agile work models to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain integration documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and migration activities (e.g., PI/PO to Integration Suite).
- Ensure integration standards, naming conventions, and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to design end-to-end integration landscapes.
- Provide operational support, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for integration scenarios.

3-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI/PI/PO (or more for senior roles).
Strong expertise in:
SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite
API Management
SAP PO/PI
SLD configurations/ NWA setup
EDI and TPM Configuration
Proficiency in IDoc, BAPIs, RFCs, Odata, REST/SOAP services, and XML/JSON/EDI data formats.
Experience with Graphical, Java, Groovy Scripts, XSLT mappings and Palette functions for mapping development.
Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills using Message Monitor, PIMON, and associated tools.
Understanding of integration patterns and middleware best practices.
Preferred Skills
Transport Management in CPI/PI/PO.
Knowledge of Event Mesh, Open Connectors.
Familiarity with ABAP debugging related to integration issues.
Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem ‑ solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
