SAP Deployment Project Manager
Role Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking an SAP Deployment Project Manager to support SAP S/4HANA deployments across supply chain and operational environments. In this role, you will lead deployment activities for manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and business operations, helping ensure successful adoption of standardized business processes while maintaining operational continuity.
You will partner closely with business leaders, site teams, digital and solution teams, and external implementation partners to coordinate deployment readiness, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale ERP transformation program while working across multiple sites and functions throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment Planning and Execution
- Lead end-to-end deployment planning, readiness, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities for assigned sites and business units.
- Develop and maintain integrated deployment plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate deployment activities across business, site, digital, and implementation partner teams.
- Ensure deployment readiness activities are completed on schedule and aligned with program objectives.
- Facilitate cutover rehearsals, go-live preparation, and hypercare support activities.
- Escalate risks, issues, and decisions that may impact scope, schedule, quality, or business continuity.
- Partner with planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, and other back-office functions.
- Drive business readiness activities, including testing, training, change readiness, and process adoption.
- Ensure local site needs and operational considerations are understood and addressed.
- Support adoption of standardized SAP S/4HANA processes and alignment with global deployment standards.
- Help minimize operational disruption through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Align business stakeholders, site leaders, digital teams, solution teams, and implementation partners around deployment objectives.
- Lead status reviews, deployment governance activities, issue resolution, and executive communications.
- Foster accountability across project teams and ensure clear ownership of actions and decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with program leadership and deployment teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Conduct deployment readiness assessments and support site go-live preparedness.
- Maintain risk, issue, action, and decision logs with defined ownership and follow-through.
- Ensure cutover plans are fully developed, tested, and supported by contingency measures.
- Support post-go-live stabilization efforts and transition activities to ongoing support organizations
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of SAP deployment or ERP transformation experience.
- Strong project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated supply chain experience and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA deployment programs.
- Experience managing business readiness, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities.
- Proven ability to manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience leading or supporting multi-site SAP S/4HANA deployments within a global organization.
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or industrial operating environments.
- Working knowledge of major supply chain business processes supported by SAP.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Location & Travel
While Nashville, TN is the preferred location, we are open to considering candidates located near key Schneider Electric hubs, including Dallas, Chicago, Raleigh, and Boston, as well as individuals within a reasonable geographic distance of Nashville. We are looking for someone who can maintain a strong connection to the team and travel as needed to support deployment activities.
Travel is an important part of this role and includes visits to manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and other deployment locations. Employees based in the Nashville area can expect approximately 25% travel. Remote employees should anticipate travel closer to 50% to ensure effective onsite engagement during critical deployment, testing, training, cutover, and go-live activities.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
