Your IMPACT:

The Sales & Marketing Automation Specialist role is part of the Digital Marketing team supporting the Nordic Baltic Zone and reports to the Nordic Head of Digital Marketing. Based in Warsaw, Poland, the position operates within a team of digital specialists focused on driving digital transformation and promoting a data-driven approach across the region.

In this role, you will leverage marketing automation technologies to enhance customer engagement, improve lead generation, and drive business growth in the Swedish market. The position combines expertise in marketing automation and search engine marketing (SEM), with a strong focus on optimizing customer journeys, campaign performance, and online visibility.

A key aspect of the role is the use of marketing automation tools to streamline processes, strengthen customer relationships, and improve the effectiveness of demand generation activities. In addition, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of SEM initiatives in close collaboration with Website Owners and other digital stakeholders.

Due to its cross-functional nature, the position involves close cooperation with a broad range of teams, including Marketing Analytics, Channel & Segment Marketing, Customer Master Data, and Global Digital Customer Relationship Management, ensuring alignment between marketing activities and broader business objectives.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities:

SMA deployment:
  • Streamline workflows, improve efficiency and the overall effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts through increased automation.
  • Develop and execute marketing automation strategies to enhance lead generation, customer engagement, and sales pipeline management.
  • Implement and manage sales and marketing automation tools (primarily Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM; experience with SFMC is considered an advantage).
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand their automation needs and share best practices.

Marketing Automation and optimization:
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize email marketing performance (eDM open rates, Click-through Rates and ROI analysis of campaigns).
  • Drive customer engagement through a more personalized and targeted customer experience.
  • Drive lead management, email marketing (eDM), customer relationship management (CRM), customer segmentation in marketing databases, campaign management, and more.

SEM optimization:
  • Together with Website Owners and Channel & Segment Marketing, you support the development, implementation, and optimization of our search engine marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and online visibility on our platforms.

Approximate allocation of responsibilities:
  • Marketing Automation & Customer Journeys - 60%
  • CRM, Lead Management & Database Development - 25%
  • SEM Optimization & Digital Visibility - 15%

Key KPIs: Database Completeness, Database Growth, Open rates, Click-through rates, Conversion rates, Keyword performance, Cost per click etc.

Your Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience within Marketing Automation, CRM, or Digital Marketing Automation.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing - with particular focus on marketing automation, email marketing, customer journey orchestration, lead nurturing, CRM and SEM.
  • Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a big plus.
  • Excellent planning, time management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage expectations and work in a diverse and multifunctional team.
  • Fluent English communication - written and verbal.
  • Fluent Swedish (minimum B2/C1 level) with the ability to communicate effectively with local stakeholders and support market-specific campaigns.
  • Following marketing trends and news e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms.
