The Role: Sales Manager, Professional Retail
This position is responsible for sales of transactional products through indirect sales channel. Provides leadership to direct/indirect sales channels and/or fully responsible to handle all aspects of sales and marketing activities that ensure sustainable business growth and gain market share. Monitors key indicators' performance and provides coaching and development activities for internal staffs and external partners. Formulate sales strategy for the assigned territory or products, develop sales forecast, budget and manpower planning; supervises and trains distributors/ dealers/retailers and/or sales force to achieve sales targets; pursue key prospects, negotiate and construct appropriate terms of sales for businesses/projects. Lead transformative growth across the entire business value chain while supporting the company and partners to exceed customers' expectations.
What will you do?
- Develop strategies : develop and formulate sales strategies and conduct promotion campaigns to achieve individual products sales targets and ensure new offer launch success
- Market Analysis : monitor industry tends and participate associations that translate insights into effective market-expansion strategies aligned with the business directions
- Goal setting : lead in planning goals and key objectives for the channel including field execution and process improvement to drive growth and enhance effectiveness
- Team leadership : Monitor performance and provides coaching and development activities for staff
- Professional negotiation : participate in important negotiations with key customers/projects
- Maintain an active customer account base and/or grow successful channel relationships
- Identify new business potentials and channel opportunities from the industry
- Prepare forecast and annual budget plan for regular review with senior management
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
- 10-15 years relevant experience with proven record
- Experience in leading a sales team is a must, solid experience and connection with local retail chains is required.
- High preferably with background in General Trade Retail or Diffuse channel
- Proven track record of distribution and key stakeholder relationship management
- Strong business acumen and excellent analytical, presentation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Customer-oriented and interested in dealing with people
- Result-driven, energetic, and the ability to drive changes for better results
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken; Mandarin is a plus
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Application (Excel and Powerpoint)
