About the role
ETAP is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Brussels or Maastricht to accelerate growth across the BENELUX region. In this role, you will help industrial, engineering, and process‑industry customers unlock the full value of ETAP's digital engineering and data platform. You will drive new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and position ETAP as the leading solution for unified digital twin and engineering data management. Your work will directly support customer digital transformation initiatives and strengthen ETAP's regional presence.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers who are not yet using ETAP solutions
- Drive new logo growth and expand ETAP's footprint in the BENELUX region
- Develop and grow existing accounts through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with current customers and support license renewals
- Build long‑term customer relationships at all organizational levels
- Create and execute detailed account plans (prospecting qualification closing)
- Meet revenue targets and maintain accurate sales forecasts
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical experts, product, marketing)
- Deliver tailored, value‑driven sales presentations and demonstrations
- Position ETAP solutions effectively using strong industry and customer insights
- Proactively address customer challenges to ensure high satisfaction
- Manage your pipeline in Salesforce using the MEDDPICC methodology
- Stay informed about ETAP products, market trends, and competitive technologies
- Participate in ongoing product, technical, and sales training

Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in direct B2B sales or a strong record of success in sales roles
- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is an advantage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (electrical/electricity required)
- Experience selling SaaS or DaaS solutions is a plus
- Strong business development background focusing on new customer acquisition
- Proven ability to close complex technology or software deals
- Experience with Salesforce and MEDDPICC methodology
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Understanding of IT/OT applications within process or automation industries
- Class B driving license; regular travel within BENELUX required, with occasional international travel
