For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $170,000 - $240,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

Job Description

The Retail Channel Development Manager role is a high-impact position that will be responsible for leading growth across all retail channels for our Home Solutions product portfolio. This role owns the retail partner strategy, expansion and performance - working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product managers and operations to scale distribution, maximize sell-through and strengthen retailer relationships nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have deep retail channel expertise, strong commercial experience and a passion for making an impact in the US residential space.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive retail channel strategy (inclusive of DIY Home Improvement, Consumer Electronics, digital marketplace)
  • Identify emerging retail partners
  • Own retail business plans including revenue targets and assortment strategies
  • Lead joint business planning, line reviews and quarterly performance reviews
  • Negotiate promotional calendars and in-store and online placements
  • Partner with marketing and product managers to launch new Home Solutions products
  • Ensure strong in-store and digital merchandising including packaging, displays and content
  • Coordinate with operations and supply chain to forecast, inventory play and ensure on-time launches
  • Track and analyse retail KPIs
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to Home Solutions and US Country leadership

This job might be for you if you are/have:
  • 4 Year college degree with preferred focus in Business, Marketing and/or related field
  • 7+ years experience in retail merchandising, channel management or business development with proven results (Preferred: 10+ year experience, supervisor/manager experience a plus)
  • Experience launching and scaling products in retail environments
  • Proven success managing national or regional accounts
  • Experience with omnichannel retail strategies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality results
  • Communication skills to influence and lead
  • Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with executive leadership
