We are looking for a Regional Transport Manager to make an impact!
Mission (About the Role)
Schneider Electric is seeking a Regional Transport Manager to continuously improve the processes, tools, organization and manage the stakeholders to successfully deliver the results for respective scope in the region.
What will you do?
- Drive productivity savings, improve transit time performance (leadtime and reliability) and visibility for inbound air and Last Mile Delivery (LMD)
- Manage regional air freight program including driving overall air freight tonnage reduction, l eading and conduct regular business review to ensure optimal performance, p articipating in continuous improvement program with freight forwarders
- Optimize supply chain flows with supply planning of (logistics and factory) and network design team on optimal usage of transport mode (ocean, multimodal, truck, air, express)
- Work closely with transport leaders and logistic heads in the countries to drive improvements and support on operational issues and c osely collaborate with procurement teams to update and maintain transport rate cards
- Manage productivity programs for both logistics and factory including leading region productivity goal and drive productivity targets, go verning usage of non contracted spot rates and a voiding heavy weight express
- Optimize last mile delivery truck routing and fill rates and p articipate in cost optimisation efforts in RFQ tenders
- Lead CO2 reduction program for transport in the region shifting to greener solutions for international freight and LMD
- Train, monitor and control dangerous goods handling and shipments for all modes
- Lead with internal and external stakeholders the end-to-end transport digitization and support and deploying corporate strategies and guidelines

Wh at qualifications will make you successful?
- Degree in Transport / Freight Forwarding / logistics or Supply Chain Management and/or information systems technology management related to freight forwarding & logistics
- At least 6 years in the transport / freight forwarding / logistics field and/or experience in information system technology management related to freight forwarding & logistics.
- Strong knowledge in transportation daily operations and expose to 3PL industry know-how and background, conversant with commercial processes and operational viabilities
- Knowledge on SAP / OTM / EDI is preferred.
- Project management, people management, change management to influence and convince,
- Good communication and interpersonal skill, strong analytical skills
