Regional Tender Manager - C&SP
JOB DESCRIPTION : REGIONAL TENDER MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL C&SP
Activities on account :
• Lead and engage the regional account community (SAE, RKAM, country teams, local Tender Managers, etc.) around the tendering portfolio and related actions, ensuring consistent communication through regular meetings and reports. Anticipate resource needs at the local and regional levels.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through a regionalized, coordinated approach that supports both external customers and internal stakeholders (SAE and RKAM).
• Ensure alignment and consistency in designs, pricing, and commercial conditions across countries and opportunities by coordinating with subject-matter experts (architects, contract teams, BUs, etc.).
• Consolidate and maintain tendering tools, templates, and methodologies that bring value to the account, ensuring their effective use across local and regional teams.
• Drive the formalization and reuse of Lessons Learned from both the Tender phase (lead responsibility) and Execution phase (active participation), ensuring rapid feedback loops and continuous improvement.
• Promote and integrate appropriate digitalization scope in tenders, aligned with group strategy
Activities on offers :
• Oversee and control the direction, timeline, and status of regional opportunities. Act as the accountable owner-whether fully leading or supporting-and serve as the primary contact point for RKAM.
• Ensure consistency and proper interfaces across packages and projects, following account practices related to risks, T&Cs, resource setups, taxes, and Lessons Learned.
• During prescription, contribute to Schneider qualification, spec-in efforts, and RFQ drafting or analysis to maximize customer value and winning potential.
• During bid phase, support definition of tender strategy, shape the appropriate tendering setup (local/regional), and validate it during SOC. Lead and coordinate the extended tender team.
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated commercial offers, optimizing cost, minimizing risks, and meeting customer expectations to outperform competitors.

• Build a comprehensive summary of risks with mitigation plans. Ensure command of all aspects of the offer: technical proposal, sourcing, contractual topics, commercial positioning, and cash flow.
• Reconstruct target pricing and simulate alternative scenarios to achieve optimal positioning. Challenge contributions from team members and suppliers to converge on a competitive offer.
• Manage CPP process stages and timelines in alignment with customer deadlines. Prepare consolidated Tender Reviews (S2) and facilitate clear decision-making for approvals.
• Closely support contract negotiations alongside the customer and SAE, ensuring rapid team responsiveness. Continuously assess compliance with established mandates and correct deviations when needed.
• Lead the Pre-Sign Review (P0), presenting final gaps and highlights versus mandate and confirming committed costs and margin. Prepare and lead handover to execution teams.
• Ensure systematic and proactive integration of Lessons Learned into new tenders, strengthening performance and knowledge transfer.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Tendering and/or Customer Project environments, with a strong background in complex tenders or projects.
• At least 5 years of successful project team management experience (functional management); remote team leadership is an advantage.
• Experience in the Datacenter environment is a significant plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead functional and remote teams composed of diverse profiles (Local Tender Managers, Contract specialists, Technical experts, SMEs, etc.).
• Strong capability to understand, influence, and persuade stakeholders within a complex matrix organization.
• High resilience under time pressure, maintaining consistent performance and quality.
• Ability to learn from peers, share knowledge, coach others, and collaborate effectively.
• Technical knowledge electric equipment such as (MV SWGR/LV SWGR/UPS/Cooling/Busway) of is a strong plus.
